
The London based City and Guilds PAT Testing training teaches learners how to perform PAT testing contracts in real life situations.
The course itself contains theory and practical learning to allow delegates to fully grasp the subject matter and be able to competently perform PAT testing duties.
On completion of the PAT testing course London, successful candidates will be able to carry out basic testing and record keeping to comply with the Electricity at Works Regulations 1989.
The PAT training London course from City and Guilds balances the theoretical aspects of the course with essential practical learning. Both aspects are vitally important and should be thoroughly understood before this course can be successfully completed.
The 2377-20 course covers all essential areas when learning to PAT test and includes the following subjects:
Once learners have successfully grasped each of the subject elements and passed the course itself, they will be able to complete basic PAT testing work and keep records as specified in the Electricity at Work Regulations.
The London 2377 PAT Testing course concludes with a 1 hour, PC based, 30 question, open book examination.
All learners who successfully complete and pass this course will be awarded with a City and Guilds In Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment PAT certificate and a certificate of attendance.
The London 2377-20 course is one day long in total from 9am to 5pm.
London PAT testing courses take place at the dedicated Watford based training centre close to the M25 and the London Underground.
The City and Guilds 2377-20 course has been designed for those needing to learn how to perform PAT testing duties, from people responsible for the maintenance of electrical equipment to those working for themselves and wanting to diversify their career.
Those wishing to complete this qualification do not need to hold any prior qualifications, however it would be beneficial to have some basic PAT testing knowledge and be familiar with electrical systems and hazards of electricity in order to successfully pass this qualification.
