The City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing Course in London is a professional qualification for Electrical Installers and electricians who are experienced within the trade. The course will teach you how to install, inspect and test electrical installations, allowing you to not only sign off your own work, but to test and sign off other electricians work too.
This is an advanced inspection and testing course and holders of the C&G 2391-10 certification are highly regarded within the electrical industry.

City and Guilds 2391-10 Inspection and Testing Training
This Inspection & Testing course is mostly theory based with some practical assessments. You will study a variety of subjects including; Inspection & Testing of installations, legislation, RCD, Earth Fault Loop testing, verification of test results and much more. This 2391course will also include exam preparation work to help you get ready for your assessments.
London 2391-10 Examination
The Certificate of Inspection, Testing & Verification of Electrical Installations examination is called the 2391-10 exam and is set by the awarding body City & Guilds. The exam is a written paper, is taken under exam conditions and will take place on the evening of the final day of the course.
Practical assessments are taken at a convenient time for both you and the London electrical training centre.
To take the City & Guilds exam you must be registered at least eight weeks before the exam date. Therefore if you enrol on this course with less than eight week before the exam, you will have to pay a late exam registration fee. This is compulsory and enforced by City & Guilds. The latest that you can enrol on this examination is two weeks before. If you are unsure please give us a call and we can advise you on your options.
Qualification Gained
If you pass the written exam and the practical assessments of this 2391-10 course, you will receive a C&G Certificate of Inspection, Testing & Verification of Electrical Installations.

Who is the 2391-10 suitable for?
This course is recommended for experienced electricians who have been working within the electrical installations industry for a while.
What are the Pre-requisites for the 2391-10?
You must also have completed the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations Certificate and have sound knowledge of the regulations to enrol on this course.
The national pass rate as promoted by City & Guild for this course is 30%. To combat this City & Guilds have launched the 2392-10 course. This has been launched as a pre-requisite to the 2391 and can significantly improve pass rates for those who complete it before the 2391, however it is not a strict requirement.
What can I do after this course?
After receiving the certificate from this course you will be well placed to inspect, test and verify electrical installation work completed by yourself and others.
