Looking to retrain or want a new career? Become a domestic electrical installer in only 26 days.
The Advanced level Domestic Electrical course package is the only course combination that allows a non-experienced, non-qualified person to train and become an Advanced Electrical Installer with a vast number of course qualifications at the end of the package.
By combining eight electrical courses, a learner is getting the most advanced electrical course package around.
Courses in the package can be booked separately but it is vital that they are studied in order. The package system is the ideal way to get your qualifications and can easily fit around your existing working commitments.

Advanced Electrical Installer Training
This domestic electrical course package is made up of a combination of eight separate courses that take a total of 26 days to complete. Once finished, a learner will be a fully qualified Advanced Electrical Installer and will be able to complete work to the skill level they have achieved.
As an advanced electrical course it combines all the courses from the Domestic Electrical Installer course but also has the added benefit of three further high level courses designed for those who would like to be able to offer a wider range of electrical services to clients.
Compulsory courses that make up the advanced electrical package include:
- Basic Electrics (3 Days)
- Introduction to Inspection and Testing (2 Days)
- City & Guilds 2382-10 17th Edition (3.5 Days)
- City & Guilds 2393-10 Building Regulations 2393-10 (1 Day)
- Part P for Domestic Installers (6 Days)
- City & Guilds 2392-10 Inspection and Testing (5 Days)
- Heating and Boiler Controls (1 Day)
- Solar Photovotaics (PV) Installer (3 Days)
Once you book your place on this advanced electrical course package, you will initially only be booked onto the Basic Electrics course. The following course can be booked once you have passed this first module.
Advanced Electrical Domestic Installer Package Exams

Qualification Gained
Once you complete a particular course in the package, you will be awarded with a certificate of attendance and a qualification certificate from the particular awarding body for that module.
Course Duration
The Advanced Electrical Installer package combines a number of courses that are studied separately at convenient times for you, however if all courses were added together, it is 26 days long combining eight individual courses.

Once the full package has been completed, it is possible to apply to one of the five competent person schemes across the UK in order to become registered as a Domestic Installer.
