Certificate in Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification City and Guilds 2392 -10

This qualification is designed as a first step qualification in inspection and testing. It is suitable for those less experienced in this area and has been designed to introduce you to the basic aspects of the inspection, testing and verification processes. It will allow you to Inspect and Test dwellings of single phase supply. Typically small units, small offices and houses. Delegates are required to have the existing 2382 17th edition Regulations Book as well as the IEE Inspection and Testing Guidance Note 3 text book latest version for both courses. These books may be purchased for £60.00 for the 17th Edition Regulations Book and £35.00 for Guidance Note 3
We strongly recommend candidates read and familiarise themselves with the Guidance Note 3 technical text book before attendance for this course. We assume people who attempt the 2392-10 have passed the 16th or 17th Edition.

Certificate in Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installation City and Guilds 2391-10

This qualification is aimed at practicing electricians with responsibility for inspection, testing and certification of electrical systems. This course will involve all aspects of testing, inspecting and verification. Assessment is by means of a written and practical test. Delegates are required to have the existing 2382 17th edition Regulations Book as well as the IEE Inspection and Testing Guidance Note 3 text book latest version for both courses. These books may be purchased for £60.00 for the 17th Edition Regulations Book and £35.00 for Guidance Note 3

The 2391-10 is a technical award with a high failure rate for in-experienced people, so if you are in any doubts about your technical competency or experience, we recommend you take the 2392-10 oulined above. We assume people who attempt the 2391-10 have passed the 16th or 17th Edition.

Please note City and Guilds run fixed examination dates for the City and Guilds 2391-10 written examination. This is between 6.30 to 9pm. City and Guilds mark the written examination papers and an Examiner has to be booked by them to mark our papers. Therefore all candidates wishing to book this course must do so no later than the month preceding the month before the course start date. For example, if our course is in February, delegates have to reserve a space by 31st December. We are charged £55.00 per candidate late entry fee by City and Guilds and therefore this cost would be passed on for late entries.

w/e February 2010 the resit fee for the 2391 is to be charged at £60 plus VAT.

Certificate in Design, Erection @ Verification of Electrical Installations City @ Guilds 2391-20

This qualification is for people working in electrical contracting companies who have responsibility for the quality of design, specification, installation, inspection and testing processes. It covers, in particular the 17th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations for Electrical Installations. A project, practical test and written examination have to be successfully completed to pass this qualification.
