17th Edition Training Courses
Get to grips with the IEE Wiring Regulations and amendments
Conforming to the 17th Edition Wiring Regulations BS 7671 (2008) is a legal requirement for all domestic and electrical installers. 17th Edition training covers the application of the IEE Wiring Regulations and IEE On-site Guide. Designed for electricians and electrical contractors, 17th Edition training is a requirement for those registering with a Part P scheme.
The two main 17th Edition training courses are the full City and Guilds 2382:10 and update 2382:20. Whether you have no experience of 17th Edition or currently hold a 16th Edition certificate, you will need to sit one of these 17th Edition training courses.
Not sure which 17th Edition Course you require?
- City & Guilds 2382-10 17th Edition Course: This full 17th Edition training course is designed for practising electricians and those with no previous 16th Edition qualification.
- City & Guilds 2382-20 17th Edition Update Course: The 2382-20 update 17th edition course is a short course designed for those wanting to update their 16th Edition qualification (BS 7671 post June 2001).
- 17th Edition Amendment Course: With the new 17th Edition Wiring Regulations Amendment No. 1 coming in to affect on 1st July 2011, this electrical training course aims to get current 17th Edition trained electricians up to speed with the changes.
- City & Guilds 2382-12 17th Edition Course: As of 1st December 2011, the current 2382-10 course will be amended and delivered as the new 2382-12 course. Any candidates already booked to take the 2382-10 course after this date will be taught the new 2382-12 course.

- City & Guilds 2393-10 Building Regulations: This course teaches all aspects of the Building Regulations required to enrol on a Competent Person scheme.

City & Guilds 17th Edition 2382-12 Electrical Training Course
City & Guilds 2382-12 electrical training course will be available from 1st December 2011 at our training centres in London and Stockton-on-Tees.

City & Guilds 17th Edition 2382-10 Electrical Training Course
Study the 17th Edition training course at a number of locations across the UK. This course is a must for all those concerned with the design, maintenance and installation of electrical wiring.

17th Edition Update training allows existing electricians and domestic installers to learn the current regulations and update their skills from the previous 16th Edition standards.

City & Guilds 2393-10 Certificate in Building Regulations for Electrical Installers
For experienced electricians the City & Guilds 2393-10 Building Regulations Certificate is tailored to get you up to date with Part P of the Building Regulations. This will then allow you go on to register with a Competent Person scheme.
